Welcome and Thank you for visiting!
Mahora is a cozy home studio in northeast Albuquerque near Academy Hills Park, designed to serve one client at a time.VA insurance is also accepted (Please click here for more info).
I’m Shino, the owner of Mahora. Originally from Japan, I moved to the U.S. in 2016 and graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics (nmsnt.org), where I trained in a wide range of bodywork modalities.
I specialize in in helping seniors and anyone seeking relief from pain such as sciatica, frozen shoulder, and other chronic conditions. I continually study new techniques to provide the most effective care possible, helping each client improve mobility, ease discomfort, and enhance their overall well-being.
Services

Functional Fascia Release Therapy
My signature massage session focused on relieving acute/chronic pain. I incorporate many techniques inspired by Mayo Fascia Release.

CBD Oil Massage Therapy
A relaxation-focused massage using CBD oil to help ease tension and promote a deep sense of calm.

Core Synchronism Therapy
A gentle form of body work to release blocks and inharmonious patterns in both physical and emotional aspects of the body.

Chakra Balancing Therapy
Chakra balancing helps restore harmony to the body by improving energy flow. It works on a physical level to ease tension, support natural healing, and bring a greater sense of balance and well-being.
- Different kinds of modalities are used to customize your massage session and to create a revitalizing experience.
- You will receive one full hour of service – not 50/55 minutes.

My vision is to support the well-being of every person I work with. I dedicate care and attention to each session—listening to your needs and creating space for true restoration. If life has kept you too busy for self-care, I invite you to take this time for yourself.
At Mahora, you will discover a place where body and mind reconnect in balance.
The word Mahora comes from ancient Japanese and simply means “a good place/land.” I designed this home studio with that meaning in mind—to offer you a welcoming space that feels like a good place for your body and spirit. With my experience, I aim to guide you toward greater harmony, balance, and ease.
